'Quiddles'.
Discover the amenities that make Portland Victoria Bowling Club a welcoming place for bowlers and visitors alike. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable and functional environment for our members and guests even if sometimes, it can be a bit of a squeeze to get so many in the Club house.

Clubhouse Amenities
Our compact club house offers essential facilities for your comfort, including a convenient kitchen area where you can enjoy tea and coffee. Please note, we do not have a licenced bar. Toilet facilities are available for your convenience on the lower floor. For your safety, a club defibrillator and a first aid kit is on-site. Most importantly, our friendly members create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Behaved dogs are allowed in the club house.

Parking and Access
While on-street parking is available directly outside the Gardens, we recommend utilising the 'Masonic Hall' car park for additional space. Please be aware that this car park is approximately a 10-minute walk from the club green.
There is a path to access the main door of the club house which is situated on the top floor. The lower path also has access to the main door, this is by means of 26 steep stone steps with a supportive handrail on one side. Toilets and storage rooms are situated on the lower floor accessed by 6 stone steps and 1 step up to the main lower floor.
Public garden benches are located to the NE of the green we can provide other seating by arrangement.
Currently, our green does not have wheelchair access and unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to the toilets or the Clubhouse itself, however Portland Town Council have plans to locate a public toilet with wheelchair access within the gardens soon.

Please note:- Our Green is for the use of paid-up members and their guests only. Except for 'Open Days' and by prior arrangement with the club for a small fee. Flat soled Bowling shoes or flat sports shoes are to be worn when entering the Green.
